Charaparambil Moosa Haji opened the first counter on IG Road, Pottammal Junction in 1987. In 1990, the CEEPEES GOLD manufacturing unit was established — the atelier that still produces every Mnemonic piece today. The idea was unchanged from day one: handmade jewellery, honest weight at the counter, no games.
Calicut's merchants, brides and families found it and stayed. Three generations later, Muhammed Junaid and Fathima Nifla run nine showrooms across Kerala and the Gulf. The flagship is still on IG Road. Every Mnemonic piece still leaves with the maker's mark inside.
